Traditioneller Nikolauslauf am 6. Dezember
Am Sonntag, den 6. Dezember in der Zeit zwischen 14:45 und 17:30 Uhr findet der seit vielen Jahren zur Tradition gewordene Nikolaus-Eislauf im Mellendorfer Eisstadion (Hockeyzentrale-Ice House) statt.
Wie seit vielen, vielen Jahren wird der Nikolaus in seinem roten Mantel und mit seinem langen weißen Bart zweimal auf die glänzende Eisfläche gehen und die Kinder mit kleinen Geschenken aus seinem prall gefüllten Jutesack überraschen.
Am Nikolaustag die vorweihnachtlich geschmückte Eisbahn besuchen, die von tausenden kleinen Lämpchen erleuchtet ist und mit der Familie, den Kindern oder Großkindern den Nikolaus treffen, dazu einen heißen Kakao mit oder ohne Sahne oder einen Glühwein trinken, sicherlich eine gute Idee für einen Nikolausbesuch, der in Erinnerung bleibt.
